New York Community Colleges Energy Equity (NYCCEE): A Transformative Workforce Development Initiative
Download Fact Sheet
Supported by New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) and the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL), NYCCEE is a consortium of 24 SUNY/CUNY community colleges, employers, community organizations, unions, faith leaders, and state and local governments. Together we are building an unprecedented, statewide skills training and jobs on-ramp for New Yorkers who have been left out of the energy transition.

Advancing a stronger, cleaner, more inclusive economy for New Yorkers.
NYCCEE will marshal the strength of its members to combine clean energy sector training in building electrification, offshore wind, solar, and advanced manufacturing with support services, apprenticeships and job placements to build pathways to employment for underserved communities and dislocated workers.
Help reimagine what it means to train tomorrow’s workforce.
